Robin Owen- Financial Controller

Testimony

Robin was baptized as an infant at the Marion First Church of the Nazarene. Growing up in a Christian home, Robin always knew the importance of God.  At the age of thirteen, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior.  Over the years her faith continued, but she didn’t attend church on a regular basis. It wasn’t until her adult son, TJ, who had become active in a church in Delaware, decided to be baptized.  After going to his baptism, Robin decided to join her son and attended church at the Delaware City Vineyard.  Upon her move to Mansfield in 2013, the Lord put upon her heart to seek out a start-up church and she attended Love Action Church in Crestline, OH where she was very active.  Answering God’s call to move in a different direction, Robin started attending Crossroads Community Church in Mansfield, OH with her brother, Kenny, in May 2018.  There she is a member of the church where she serves on the guest services team and is a part of a women’s small group.  Wanting to do more, the Lord put it upon her heart to go on a mission trip, which she fulfilled in August of 2017.  She traveled to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti with a team from OnePlusGod Ministries.  Embracing the call of mission work, she traveled to both South Africa and Haiti in 2018.  In September 2019 she went to Israel and will return to Haiti a third time in December 2019 to work on the Tent City project.  She plans to continue to go on annual mission trips for as long as the Lord allows.
